Is there an age limit to rent a boat?
You must be 25 years of age or older to rent a boat from Rox’s

Is there a deposit?
Yes, we ask for a $1,000 damage deposit. We will refund this deposit once you have returned the rental boat damage-free

Do I need a Boating Safety certificate to rent a boat?
Renters do not need a certificate, but it is mandatory to have previous experience captaining a boat

Do I have to pay for fuel?
Yes. You will begin your rental period with a full tank of fuel, you must fill the tank before your return. Failure to do so will result in fuel charges being deducted from your deposit.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?
If you cancel your reservation at least 7 days in advance, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, you will forfeit your rental deposit (your deposit is half of your rental cost)

There is one exception to our policy. Rox’s Landing will not provide a refund for rental interruptions due to poor weather or circumstances out of Rox’s Landings control. In these events renters will receive a raincheck good for one year from the rental date.

Can I bring a pet?
Sorry, no pets. Keep your fur babies at home.

Can we pull a ski or tube behind the boat?
No, we DO NOT allow anything to be pulled behind our boats for your safety and due to our limited liability insurance regulations.

Are food and drinks allowed?
Yes! Please be respectful and clean up after yourselves.

Do you have life jackets?
Yes, all boats are legally required to have life jackets. For infants and children, you should bring your own as they are size specific and we don’t carry youth jackets
